GrindTec Innovation Award 2022 for the BPMotion
 


For our innovative strength, outstanding performance and sustainability- we have received the GrindTec Innovation Award 2022 for the latest innovation in our portfolio - the Brushpolishing machine BPMotion.

With the BPMotion, we have brought a product to the market that can hone, polish and deburr dynamically, reproducibly and in a defined manner. Equipped with individually controllable servo motors, this machine is able to process complex geometries in a defined manner, whereby the edges of a workpiece can be processed differently. An additional mode enables the Z-axis to oscillate slightly, e.g. it can also be used to machine edges in recesses and thus expand the variety of parts. 

The BPMotion also no longer needs any abrasive additives (pastes) to achieve perfect results. Depending on requirements, it can be used either completely dry or with recyclable polishing oil.

The aim of the BPMotion is to support companies to improve the longevity of their products. This is achieved through the precise honing of edges, as it enables to increase the longevity of cutting tools.

Areas of application are mainly found in the following industries:
Tooling industry, cutting industry and engineering, medical technology, watch industry.

Compared to the predecessor machine, the BPMotion offers the following advantages:
