Use the Renè Gerber brushpolishing machines and your burrs stand no chance

Who hasn't been there - the sintered parts are not quite finished - the final touch is still missing.....
For many companies, deburring and honing workpieces after punching, fine blanking, sintering, and machining is a chore.

René Gerber AG is the technology leader in deburring and honing. To remove burrs, we rely on the brush deburring process. Brushpolishing machines - especially our compact and process-safe BS ECO - are used to deburr workpieces with indentations or pockets with high precision and to hone them in a defined manner within a narrow tolerance range. It works efficiently and cost-effectively and combines three steps in one process: targeted deburring, edge honing and surface polishing. It also significantly improves the surface roughness. Thus, this method is particularly suitable for precision components where an absolute absence from burrs and undamaged surfaces are a prerequisite.

In general, deburring smoothes the peaks in the surface without significantly affecting the thickness of the workpiece. The effect is created by the brush, which consists of bristles with embedded abrasive grains that glide over the sharp-edged workpiece. This produces a defined edge honing. Since no secondary burr is produced during rounding and deburring with brushes, the honing remains reproducible via the setting parameters.
