Precise paste supply for stable processes

Abrasive brushes are used in most applications. Wherever possible and technically appropriate, we use brushes with homogeneously bonded abrasive grain. This ensures that the abrasive effect is maintained throughout the entire service life of the brush. At the same time, abrasive grain remains continuously available at the contact surface between the brush and the workpiece during machining.

However, when it comes to the fine and ultra-fine finishing of ultra-hard materials, bonded abrasive grain can reach its limits. In these applications, non-abrasive brushes are therefore often used in combination with diamond paste.

For this purpose, our BP Motion is optionally available with a volumetric-controlled diamond paste supply system. It continuously supplies the processing zone with the required amount of diamond paste, even while the process is running.
The dosing quantity and supply intervals can be defined individually and integrated directly into the respective process program.

The result: stable process conditions, shorter processing times and highly repeatable machining results.

Especially in demanding surface finishing processes, it is not only the right abrasive that matters, but also when and in what quantity it is available in the processing zone.
